Nothing Is More Precious Than Your Eyesight
COVID -19 : Safety Precautions are in Place to Protect our Patients, Staff, and Local Community.
Our Standard of Practice has always been to disinfect our Equipment before each Patient. Maintaining the safety of our patients is nothing new to Lucas Eye Clinic. We have increased our sanitizing methods to exceed the highest standards of cleanliness. Each person, upon entering the office, is asked to use our Hand Sanitizer. We disinfect commonly touched areas of the office frequently and each frame is disinfected after each use. In addition, we use a filtration system that filters viruses from the air.
Face Masks
Masks MUST be worn at all times by Staff and Patients while in our Office.
Social Distancing
We are limiting the number of Patients and Visitors in our Office by increasing the time between Patients. We ask that other family members and friends, be left at home or remain in the car, to help with this effort, as we follow the guidelines and recommendations of the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Adult Comprehensive Eye Exams
Annual eye exams are recommended to detect any changes in vision, as well as to monitor any disease that may affect the eyes. Our exams begin with going over our Patients medical history to determine if there are medical problems that could potentially affect the eyes. Health issues like Diabetes and High Blood Pressure can damage the eyes. The damage can be gradual or abrupt. Detecting these problems early, before vision loss is experienced, is Essential.
Children’s Comprehensive Eye Exams
Most learning occurs through vision. In fact, about 65% of the population are visual learners. Make sure your child has a good start for this upcoming school year. You wouldn’t send your child to school without pens or pencils. Don’t send your child to school without an eye exam. Book an appointment today.
